Load balancers
High Speed Rail (Crewe – Manchester) Environmental Statement, Glossary, abbreviations and references, published by the Department for Transport in 2022, defines load balancers as: ‘Electrical equipment used to balance the electrical loads so that the unbalance is kept within acceptable limits set by the supply authority.’
